What is this?

This is a trail of breadcrumbs for other would-be bloggers, with summaries, simplifications, and overviews of the blogging racket that I leave behind as I develop my own understandings of such matters.

I'm a limited, primitive kind of web user, to misquote Elvis Costello.

I have a creaky, ancient degree in Computer Science, and a relatively new M. Ed. in Curriculum Studies. I'm proud to be a classroom teacher in the public schools. (If you talk sloppily about how poor the public schools are around me I will ever so politely and respectfully hand you your head.)

I'm doing this blog  to record my little meta-blogging discoveries, both at the level of "content" and at the level of  coding junk up, and knowing what tools are available and so forth.

There's a number of small links pages, as well, that I would like to continue to grow. These are listed in the sidebar.

I thought this would be a bit of a throwaway, but I am motivated to continue this a little bit, because frankly I haven't found someone else's blog that is just of this sort. If you find something of this sort that's of excellent quality that fits into the categories of one of my links pages, then please share.
